BlueSky accreditation and quality assurance at home and abroad

2 July 2018

June has proved to be an exciting month for BlueSky both at home and abroad with two new partnerships added to our list of accreditations. I'm proud to announce that we are now an Associate Member of British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) and an approved member of the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).

As BlueSky already has a strong network of member schools in the Middle East with proven results, we looked into the most reputable networks of schools to support our growing community and decided upon BSME.

Formed in 1982 BSME helps heads and teachers at British schools in the Middle East to keep abreast of the latest educational developments and share best-practice. As an Associate Member of BSME, this demonstrates we are a proven and trusted supplier in the Middle East and reinforces the point that BlueSky works effectively in any country.

Read our 'real stories' on how BlueSky has supported these International schools:

Having worked in the international education market since 2009 we're aware that one of the main concerns for schools teaching the UK curriculum overseas is staying up to date with best-practice on managing staff performance, as well as coordination and measuring impact of effective CPD for staff in-house without the need to outsource this to external training providers. As a member of BSME, we are able to work closely to ensure we are meeting the needs of British schools in the Middle East, as well as keeping them informed of good practice in our networks, allowing us to support our international members even more effectively.

As one of the most respected education authorities in the UK, BESA is an entirely not-for-profit trade association which has served schools by promoting the best products in the education market for over 85 years. Membership of BESA is recognised as the gold standard for education suppliers in the UK. All members of BESA must meet rigorous membership criteria, meaning our schools can have absolute peace of mind that they are receiving the best service the UK education market has to offer.

I am absolutely delighted to see BlueSky working with these two outstanding organisations. When we founded BlueSky almost 20 years ago it was with the aim to provide a service which helped teachers by simplifying processes, encouraging best practice and reducing workload. To be recognised for providing this service to schools at home and internationally is fantastic. I'm excited to see where these partnerships lead us in the future!
